TV Guide has announced and the BBC has confirmed that actress Maisie Williams, known best for her role as the fiercely independent Arya Stark on the HBO series Game of Thrones, will be guest starring on an upcoming episode of the long-running BBC series Doctor Who. Details are sparse at this time.
No details on her character have been released, but executive producer Steven Moffat says “she is going to challenge the Doctor in very unexpected ways. This time he might just be out of his depth, and we know Maisie is going to give him exactly the right sort of hell.”
