Talented musicians Andrew Huang (previously) and Jan Willem Kolkman (a.k.a. “Jwktje“) recently worked together to create a great remix of the song “Peaches” by The Presidents of the United States of America using “24 peach halves and two slices of peach pie.” Their remix is available to download online.
The unique peach-controlled instrument, known as a Peach MIDI Controller, was wired up into Kolkman’s laptop. Every time that one of the two artists hit a certain piece of fruit, a programmed note was sent back to the computer and recorded. Kolkman goes into more detail explaining how he wired everything up in his interesting how-to video.
