A Rare Interview With Marty Krofft Offers a Glimpse Into the Strange, Wonderful World of Sid & Marty Krofft

In a rare interview, Marty Krofft of the iconic Sid and Marty Krofft sat down to speak with the Hollywood Reporter and offered viewers a glimpse inside the mystical, magical and sometimes terrifying world they created for children (and adults) with such shows as H.R. Pufnstuf, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, Land of the Lost and Electra Woman and Dyna Girl.

“We screwed with every kid’s mind. …People walk up to me and say, ‘Wow, you scared the hell out of me when I was a kid,'” says Marty Krofft, who, together with brother Sid, changed pop culture with the loopy TV shows they created in the early 1970s.
