Jackson, Wyoming production team Brain Farm realized a five-year dream of capturing some truly stunning drone footage by attaching a super high-end Phantom Flex4K camera to an Aerigon drone, a UAV capable of lifting the heavy camera.
The total system weighs about 30-pound, which is real heavy for a drone system. The real challenge lies in whether this thing will fly or not.
The subject matter is a fairly mundane truck driving through mud puddles, but the ultra high-definition quality of the 100 frames-per-second video is a stunning proof of concept of what can be accomplished.
