A woman swinging flaming steel wool on tethers releases showers of sparks in the mesmerizing slow motion video “Ignition Sequences” by filmmaker Richard Johnston. Johnston makes the effect all the more mesmerizing by playing all the footage in the video in reverse. The video is part of a promotional campaign for UK juggling supply store Cascade Juggling. Johnston notes that he and his film crew went to great effort to reduce the risk of fire.
