A Mechanized Sculpture of Yul Brynner as the ‘Westworld’ Gunslinger Robot at Monsterpalooza

Tested recently sent Norman Chan to the Monsterpalooza convention in Burbank, California, where he checked out an amazing silicone mechanized sculpture created by sculptor Nick Marra of Nick Marra Studios, depicting actor Yul Brynner as The Gunslinger robot from Michael Crichton‘s 1973 sci-fi western-thriller film Westworld. Marra goes into detail during his interview with Chan about how he brought the on-screen bionic cowboy to life and shows the sculpture’s face opening up to reveal its robotic innards.
