A Hauntingly Beautiful Time Lapse Tour Among the Statues of Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris

French filmmaker Mathieu Stern has created “Paris Lifelapse“, a hauntingly beautiful time lapse video that floats through the lanes and among the statutes of Père Lachaise, the oldest and largest cemetery in Paris proper. Over 1 million people are interred at the cemetery, including such luminaries as composer Frédéric Chopin, Jim Morrison of The Doors, novelist Colette, artist Théodore Géricault and writer Oscar Wilde, just to name a few.
