A 5.9 magnitude earthquake just hit the East Coast with an epicenter in Mineral, Virginia.

It shook the whole building here in New York City lasting several seconds.

UPDATE 1: Pentagon, White House and Capitol Building in Washington DC have all have been evacuated. Buildings in lower Manhattan have also been evacuated.
