360cam, A 360-Degree HD Camera With Native YouTube Support and Built-In Wi-Fi and GPS

360cam is a 360-degree HD video camera by French optics startup Giroptic that features built-in native YouTube support, making it one of the first 360-degree cameras to upload directly to Google’s video service when it adds support for the functionality in the coming weeks. The camera is also set to let users upload their videos directly to Google’s Street View service. 360cam features built-in GPS for geotagging, Wi-Fi for streaming, and a gyroscope for image stabilization. Scheduled for an early 2015 release, the camera was made possible by a wildly successful $1.4 million Kickstarter campaign in July 2014.
