The 2007 California State Yo-Yo Championships take place this Saturday, September 8th at The Exploratorium in San Francisco. For more on all the various regional Yo-Yo competitions that take place throughout the year, check out the American Yo-Yo Association website.
In keeping with California’s rich Yo-Yo heritage, this competition promises to be one of the best venues to witness all that is yo-yo. Be sure to stick around for scientific and educational demonstrations, as well as the main attraction: the freestyle divisions, where players take to the stage and perform a synchronized 3-minute routine set to music. This event is sanctioned by the American Yo-Yo Association. Winners will qualify for next year’s regional tournament.
