101-Year Old Canadian Woman Spontaneously Gets Out of Her Son’s Car to Make a Snowball

On November 19, 2015, vintner Armand Foisy of Fort Berens Estate Winery in Lillooet, BC,Canada captured a wonderfully heartwarming video of Alvina, his 101-year old mother, as she spontaneously got out of the car to make a very respectable snowball that she threw into the woods by the side of the road while proclaiming “it’s cold!”. Foisy fondly recalled the day’s events via narration of the video.

It was raining in Lillooet but but we could see that the snow level was really low, so we decided to check it out. A couple of kilometers from town, we were right into it. I turned the car around about three kilometers from town but before I could get back on the road the door flies open and out steps mom. When you have a mother that’s a hundred and one years old it’s a good idea to keep the camera nearby for those special moments. This is one of those.

A few days later as the video made the rounds, Alvina was delighted to see herself on television, giggling happily while charmingly repeating “oh my, oh my, oh my”.
