1,000-Year-Old Borough Market Celebrates Apple Day With ‘The Real Apple Store’ Designed After an Apple Store

Borough Market in London, England recently celebrated their 1,000th anniversary as well as Apple Day, a holiday celebrating the fruit, with The Real Apple Store, an art installation modeled after an Apple store that displayed 1,000 varieties of British apples. The installation was done by London firms TinMan and Teatime, and let visitors see and taste varieties of apples they may have never experienced before like the odd-looking Knobby Russet.

The Borough Market released a video interviewing visitors to the installation about apples.
