Ze Frank’s Sportsracers Say Goodbye

by Scott Beale on March 15, 2007 · 4 comments

Ze Frank’s “The Show” has an huge, loyal fanbase know as the “sportsracers”. It’s one of the most dedicated and involved online communities that I’ve ever seen associated with a website, with a very active forum, wiki and it’s own social network know as “the ORG”. They often contribute content to the show in the form of photos, videos, music remixes. One classic example was when Ze asked the sportsracers to send in photos dressing up their vacuum cleaners and received 1000 submissions in 20 hours.

“The Show” is Ze Frank’s one year experiment and it ends this Saturday, March 17th. On Tuesday Ze posted a show “Message From The Sportsracers”, made up entirely of 15 second sportsracer videos. It’s really quite touching.

Sportsracers, keep doing your power moves and being awesome. We’re all looking forward to what Ze has in store for us next as we ride the fire eagle and think about the little, little duckies in the pond.

Dude, hard chargers are bad news. They have no love for sports racers…

Thanks Jonathan, I’ve updated the post. There’s quite a few references to keep straight.
