Yuri’s Night is an annual worldwide celebration of humanity’s achievements in space and honors Yuri Gagarin, the first person to orbit the earth. Yuri’s Night 2009 takes place April 4-12 with parties planned around the world.
This year Yuri’s Night Bay Area is temporarily relocating to California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, with an event planned for this Thursday, April 9th.
