Taken from the Navajo word for Milky Way, “Yikaisdaha” is a short video by Toronto filmmaker Gavin Heffernan that compiles some truly beautiful shots of the clear night sky above Grand Canyon National Park and Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park in Arizona. Heffernan also uses the opportunity to play with some visual effects, creating kaleidoscopic images with star trails toward the end of the video.
