The University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia finally caught a pitch drop from the world’s longest continuously running experiment on camera. The pitch drop experiment was originally established in 1927 by Thomas Parnell to measure the flow of pitch over the course of years. The previous eight drops weren’t observed by anyone, but the ninth drop’s collision with the eighth drop in the bottom of the beaker was finally caught on camera on April 17th.
