A pretty powerful point-of-view can be had by taking the PATH train from Jersey City--it comes in and wraps around the base of the former towers, so <a HREF="http://www.flickr.com/photos/villany/14411479/" rel="nofollow">you're looking at that work area from about 30-40 feet below ground level</a> as you ride around it.
