WonderCon 2009, Northern California’s largest comics and pop culture convention, takes place February 27th through March 1st at Moscone Center South in San Francisco. Here’s are this year’s full schedule, special guests, list of exhibitors and Artists’ Alley.

Birthed in the Bay Area, WonderCon is the nation’s first major comics convention of the year, and California’s second largest gathering for fans and professionals of comic books, movies, television and all things pop culture. Its panels and programming include most every aspect of the comic book universe, games, a masquerade contest, art and autographs from favorite comics creators, presentations from major movie studios, a giant exhibit hall featuring the top names in comic book publishing and, believe it or not, more.

Here are my photos from WonderCon 2007 and WonderCon 2008.

Also, the Isotope is hosting their semi-annual wonder tiki bar crawl this year, which happens to converge on both the Wonder Con scene and the tonga room scene
