The New Yorker has announced the 20 winners of their Eustace Tilley Contest.
Recently, we held a contest asking readers to redefine Eustace Tilley, the magazine’s presiding dandy. We found ourselves with nearly three hundred ideas, from the erotic to the pontifical. Here is a portfolio of the winners, a sample of which also appears in the February 11th & 18th issue of the magazine, our 83rd anniversary issue. You can see all entries on our contest page on Flickr.com.
Congratulations to Adam Koford (aka Ape Lad) for having two of his illustrations selected (#3 & #18).
