Vimeo is now hosting HD video from The White House which is a nice alternative to the YouTube option. Here’s Barack Obama’s first weekly address as president.

Much better quality. Although few, the comments are already far more intelligent than the YouTube version.

it’s good to see these vids in high quality, BUT it looks like they are still moderating comments… 11 hours and only 8 comments, all only positive ones? i’m still skeptical.
