WeFollow

Last week at SXSW Interactive 2009, Digg and Revision3 co-founder Kevin Rose launchedWeFollow, a new user powered Twitter directory that tracks top Twitter users by popular tags. Here’s Kevin’s announcement on Digg.

To add yourself to the directory, post to following to Twitter using your preferred tags:

@wefollow #yourtag #yourtag #yourtag (replace ‘#yourtag’ w/the tags you’d like to be listed under, example: #blogger – max 3 tags)

This will be a really great resource for finding people on Twitter by area of interest.

I like it. I am #1 on tag/sf

Kevin should think about merging tags, like “sf” and “sanfrancisco”, but I guess that might not always work since “sf” can also stand for science fiction.
