It's a shame that I will be unable to attend because Café Du Nord is not wheelchair accessible.

It's also a shame that I had to call them to figure this out. After I had bought my tickets online, of course.

Hopefully my promised refund is actually forthcoming. I am, however, going to make sure that Guy Carson knows that he is missing out on business by holding events in such a location. Surely there is some way that a lift or elevator could be added. There are tax incentives and other financial support available for retrofitting older structures.

Stay tuned, we will find out.

Can I haz a w00tStock fest too? was planning my 2nd annual nerdfest (aka my b-day) and would love to haz the name approval and support from my fellow geeks! I am in Bremerton, WA (near Seattle). The venue is at Winterland. Last year we had a super successful show w Say it Ain't =w=eezer, Robot Pi, and Two Kings (tenacious d tribute band). It was a combo Roller Derby after party and my Nerd Rage (derby name) Nerdy Thirty B-Day! This year we are looking at Kirby Krackle of Seattle and looking to book friends Robot Pi and one other band TBA. If you all want to set up another date in December (tentative 4th or 11th), I'd love to have any of you guys from my geek network! Gimme a jingle at twitter as @nerdrage42
