Virgin America Pre-Flight Safety Video

by Scott Beale on November 29, 2007 · 15 comments

Here’s the wonderfully creative pre-flight safety video shown before Virgin America flights on their Airbus A320 airliners. Be sure to keep an eye out for the cameo appearance by a squid.

It was produced by Anomaly (NYC) with animation by Wild Brain (San Francisco).

Very creative update for disseminating this information. Anomaly and Wild Brain did a great job.

Do you know if this is the only one, or will there be a series of these info-toons? If there will be more, I would like to see one by Don Hertzfeldt of Bitter films.

That video was a bonus for my flight to LAX! There’s a good post regarding Virgin America on Adaptive Path’s blog as well: (http://www.adaptivepath.com/blog/2007/11/16/2007-a-space-odyssey/) I like the new approach they’re taking, two thumbs up.

That’s pretty awesome. We’ll be eagerly awaiting Virgin America at SMF (once we have some place to put them).
