Here’s a 1985 “Live on 5″ news segment from WEWS Channel 5 in Cleveland featuring Trent Reznor performing in the local band Exotic Birds, one of the bands he was in before Nine Inch Nails. The news report, which also includes Thomas Dolby, talks about how bands use computers and sampling to make their music.
