Uncured, Melting Portraits by Ben DeHaan

Uncured melting portraits by Ben DeHaan

Artist Ben DeHaan created delightfully bizarre melting portraits for his series, “Uncured.” To achieve the melted effect, DeHaan printed the images on a special type of inkjet printer that uses ink that dries (or “cures”) when exposed to ultraviolet light. DeHaan disabled the UV drying function and photographed the prints as they slowly dripped beyond recognition.
