Two of albums by Pink Floyd are the subject of a pair of documentaries, The Making of Dark Side of the Moon and The Story of Wish You Were Here. The latter also explores the trials and tribulations of former frontman Syd Barrett, the subject of the song “Shine On You Crazy Diamond”, whose strange behavior caused him to leave the band and retreat from the public eye before the recording of the record.
