Trent Reznor Releases NIN Song To Public, Encourages Remixing

Nine Inch Nails

Trent Reznor, the guy behind Nine Inch Nails, did a really cool thing today. He took “The Hand That Feeds”, a track from his upcoming album “[With Teeth]“, and dumped it from his Pro Tools sessions into a GarageBand file, making it available to the public. He’s encouraging people to download it and remix it however they want to. It will be interesting to see the kinds of things that people come up with. I’ll be waiting for the polka version myself.

Trent says:

Change the tempo. Add new loops. Chop up the vocals. Turn me into a woman.

Hi

Reznor at first seemed something like a want to be. But now I say that he is pretty cool. I read his Biography and thought wow what a change. If he ever read some of the comments you guys made he would say that you are crazy. But if he ever read mine he would say that’s a true fan. Not so whacko want to be’s. But he would also appreciate the thought of you thinking of him.

ThANK YOU!
