UK transportation company Transport Research Laboratory helped Tom Scott (previously) hitch a ride on a Meridian Shuttle, a totally driverless vehicle that will be piloted on the Greenwich Peninsula in London between March and May 2015.
This vehicle, you tap a button on a touchscreen, and it genuinely drives itself, without a backup driver behind the wheel. It doesn’t even have a wheel.
