Time-Lapse Video of the New Bigger, Faster Goodyear Blimp Being Built

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has released a time-lapse video detailing the building of the latest version of its iconic airship. The new Goodyear Blimp, which took its maiden voyage last month in the skies above Akron, Ohio, is bigger, faster and more maneuverable than its predecessors, hitting 80 miles an hour in that first flight, with the help of some tail wind. Created in collaboration with the Zeppelin company, the lighter-than-air-craft features a semi-rigid structure highlighting in the video, making the airship technically not a blimp.
