The Freelancers Union has launched The World’s Largest Invoice, a campaign to raise awareness of independent workers’ rights. The campaign asks freelancers to add the amount they were unpaid by clients to the online invoice and on May 22, 2012, the union will deliver it to the Senate Labour Committee of New York to push for a law called The Freelancer Payment Protection Act which would protect independent workers from deadbeat clients.
