I am somewhat biased in that I love the original movie with Christopher Lee (and this adaptation references a few of the scenes from the movie), but even if you have never seen the film, this stage production brings all the themes of the story to the forefront in an original way, with a nice sense of quirkiness completely appropriate to the subject.
