The Robotic Animal Sculptures of Savanna

Amit Drori’s theater production Savanna, A Possible Landscape features a fantastic menagerie of robotic animal sculptures created by Drori and Tel Aviv-based designer Noam Dover. The surprisingly expressive wooden sculptures are powered by servo motors and remote controlled by puppeteers. The production premiered in 2011.
