Hi Scott,

Since I was named in this story of the smiley face prank, I feel compelled to add a bit of my perspective.

The prank was disappointingly flawed because the neon behind the rice paper face could be plainly seen in the light of the day (not as planned that it would only be seen when mysteriously flickered on at random moments at night).

Another correction is that we lowered the man to remove the smiley face, I did not remove it via climbing.

I think a more interesting twist on the look of the man was in '99, when the mans head was stolen and we put a goofy easter island paper-mache head on him for a few days. It was run on the cover of the Reno weekly.

I'm pretty amused by the uproar on the BM tribe calling for Paul Addis' head. It's as if people have zero sense of humor about it, and they cite "safety" as their main reason for being pissed off.

Since when is BM "safe"? Why are these people so freaked out about safety?

Seems like the only crowd control there was in 95 was Dezso Molnar getting as close to the crowd as he could in the jet car. Talk about unsafe. Sheesh... I have no idea what festival these people think they are at....

Hey Kal, I just posted what was sent to me verbatim. I didn't notice that they referenced People Hater. I went ahead and removed it to avoid any confusion in the future.
