The Joker Cricket is an annoying device from Joker Greeting that relentlessly chirps like a cricket until its battery dies. The device has no off switch, and the interior of the card is filled with glitter for an additional surprise if the victim tried to destroy the Cricket.
Joker Greeting says the Cricket will last for more than three hours before its battery runs out, and they posted a video showing the device in action for a full six hours before finally falling silent.
The Joker Cricket is being funded through a Kickstarter campaign with Crickets as rewards for backers.
