The Inflatable Bouncy Castle That Is Headed to the International Space Station

A story by Wired profiles the Bigelow Expandable Activity Module (BEAM), an inflatable module similar to a bouncy castle, that will be launched to the International Space Station on April 8, 2016 on board a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

The BEAM will spend two years attached to the space station to test its safety and feasibility for future missions, including crewed missions to Mars.
