The Foo Fighters Answer the Musical Request of 1000 Musicians With a Live Concert in Cesena, Italy

In late July 2015, a group of 1,000 talented musicians came together from all over Italy to simultaneously perform a live version of “Learn to Fly” in a musical request asking the Foo Fighters to perform in Emilia-Romagna, a historical district in northern Italy. Just a few days ago, the band answered the plea with a live concert in Cesena. Frontman Dave Grohl, ever the gentleman, thanked the musicians for such a wonderful invitation while announcing the band’s last tour.

Of course the band played an incredibly rousing version of the song that started it all.

The original plea.
