For fans who couldn’t wait after the teaser trailer released last summer, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first official trailer for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, the final installment of the movies based on J.R.R. Tolkien‘s classic novel The Hobbit. The film, scheduled to be released in the US on December 17, 2014, is directed by Peter Jackson and features a returning cast that includes Martin Freeman and Sir Ian McKellan.
