November ‘09 and I just heard about this from a friend (maybe I didn’t pay attention to this old Squid post?) I swear, whatsisname Esquire looks familiar. Anyway, in the video he says “DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.” I didn’t follow any of the instructions; didn’t fill out the card, but I was amused at the office.

So I didn’t leave my phone number on the little card and I heard you get a text to start you off on “Chapter 2″. Any way I can pick up where it left off if I don’t get the text?

So I’ve gone through the induction and got the login code. But now what? The postcard you get from that Chinese shop says it’s 3 of 4 in a collection. Where are the others? Are they connected to the Jejune Institute in any way?

Hey Sheldon, yeah you can still check it out. Think of it more of a story you can pick up at the beginning, rather than a game that’s passed you up. You could certainly visit the Jejune Institute, but don’t let them sell you a radionic time camera or anything.

I am an ARG newbie who recently discovered this game from a blog post about a meetup flashmob that met at Union Square (as of writing this comment) one week ago.

Is the game over or is there still more to play?
I hope to participate in this game if it is not too late.

So some updates on this:

I’m not exactly sure what to call this project at this point. Is it an art project? is it a game? or is it an art gallery you play through? Signs point more towards the last. Whatever it is, it is a supreme trip and highly recommended.

Also, it seems I was wrongand it isn’t directly tied to Oaklandish, per se, but it may be people you may already know and love.

As of March 3rd, as I leave this comment, It’s still going on and available for your perusal. And I suggest you peruse. You might also start on the other end, with the Elsewhere Public Works Agency.
