“The Car Horn Concertmaster” is a short video about the “1000 Car Horn Symphony”, a performance art piece by artist Zefrey Throwell. The February 15 symphony consisted of 1000 Los Angeles motorists honking for five minutes to a car horn musical composition created by Throwell. The piece is part of Throwell’s ongoing “Entropy Symphony,” a series of anarchic public performance art projects. The video is directed by Grant Slater for KPCC.
