The 32nd Annual Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, A Celebration of the Beauty of Ice and Snow in China

The 32nd Annual Harbin Ice and Snow Festival opened on January 5, 2016 in the frigid air of Harbin, China. The event this year includes intricate frozen sculptures, winter-themed performances, competitions, swimming in the Songhua River, festival processions and even a wedding. At night, the various snow and ice structures in the festival are colorfully illuminated, creating a gorgeous spectacle throughout the area.
