The Amazing Synchronization of 32 Metronomes That Started Out of Synch

In the beginning of this demonstration of synchronization, 32 metronomes tick out of sync. Then, over the course of about two minutes, the metronomes gradually synchronize until they are ticking in unison. The demonstration was created by the Ikeguchi Laboratory in Japan. For more on the science behind the demonstration, see this explanation by Professor Jim Pantaleone of the University of Alaska Anchorage.
