The country of Sweden has launched +46 771 793 336, an official telephone number that connects callers to a random Swede for a chat. The number is live now and anyone in the world can call to say, “Hej!” Since launching on April 6, 2016 the number has already received more than 15,000 calls from around the world.
Swedish citizens who would like to participate as can register as an ambassador and download an app that will allow their phone to receive the incoming calls.
