Super News Takes You To The Twittersphere (and Back Down to Earth)

The new season of the animated series Super News begins on Current.com this Friday, March 20th. But in advance they have released this wonderful satire of the microblogging platform that everyone seems to be joining nowadays.

Twitter-criticism seems to be in the air a bit right now. Some are asking if Twitter has jumped the shark (no comment from the faiil whale yet on this maritime metaphor extension). A writer for Newsweek is asking readers to explain 3 things about Twitter, to potentially convince her to sign up. The other breaking news seems to be that Twitter has made a couple wittle house ads: is it merely harmless self-promotion or the harbinger of monetization?

Meanwhile, @SXSWi, Twitter is still ubi@tous.

Umm.., Mikl-em, don’t you know that ‘jump the shark’ is over? Use ‘nuke the frig’ instead.
