Stuntman Troy Hartman recently tested his personal jetpack in the skies above El Mirage Dry Lake in California (video). Skip to the 3:16 mark to watch him take off. The jetpack is powered by two small but powerful jet engines that are intended for UAV use. Last year Hartman tested the jetpack on skis:
