Photographer Jean-Paul Bourdier takes stunning surreal photos of body painted people in natural settings. Bourdier has been taking the photos for the past 12 years during trips to deserts in the American West. He uses an analog camera and the vivid colors in the images are not digitally manipulated. Some of his body painting photos are assembled in his 2007 book Bodyscapes. He is currently preparing a second book, Leap into the Blue, for which he is raising funds on Kickstarter.
