STABiLGO, A Motorized Stabilizer for GoPro Cameras

STABiLGO is a motorized, handheld camera stabilizer that allows GoPro users to capture smooth action shots. The stabilizer features a 32-bit processor and a gyroscopic sensor that work in tandem to keep an attached camera steady both horizontally and vertically. To see it in action, watch this demo video shot at Chelsea Piers Skate Park, and this side-by-side comparison of stabilized and unstabilized footage. New York City filmmakers Michael Boczon and Christine Reilly began development of STABiLGO in 2012. They’re raising funds on Kickstarter to bring the stabilizer to production.
