Anniversary Reception, Show at Art Waves Gallery

Art Waves Gallery (AWG), the unique San Francisco neighborhood
gallery at 3848 Judah, celebrates one year of "affordable art in the
Sunset" with a free reception for art lovers, neighbors, and
collectors from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 9. Kathy Dybeck is
the featured artist for March 30 through May 7. Her work, mainly
mixed media printmaking, also includes whimsical 3-D paper
constructions of "Dream Houses" and "Shred Trees." Also showing at
AWG through May 7are painters Yuyu Li, David Grote, Tim Leary, JT
Morrow, and Susan Grote, printmaker Monte Leach, photographers Lisa
Rani Horn, Wendy Withers, and Roxanne Worthington, glass artist David
S. Rose, ceramicist Terese Bravo, weaver Phoebe McAfee, and collage/
mixed media artists Nikki King and Susan Bistline. Gallery hours are
