Writers With Drinks featuring Batman, Ethical Sluts and Gutter Boys

Writers With Drinks is feeling alienated, and we've decided to share
our alienation with you, the literary public! The October Writers
With Drinks will be almost incomprehensible to anyone who doesn't
share our sense that the world is aiming a molten pitchfork at our
progenitor parts. Some of the readings will be in Gregorian chants,
only *backwards* -- which takes some practice! Other readers will
wear ball gags, while Will Franken plans to pelt the audience with
live snails and scream in Russian. This will be a high concept event
to suit our low moods. You have been warned!

Also, October's Writers With Drinks happens on a Friday instead of a
Saturday, due to a scheduling mishap which will never be repeated.

This time, we're featuring:

- Devin Grayson, writer of Batman: Gotham Nights. She can touch your
forearm with her little finger and leave you paralyzed for hours.

- Dossie Easton, co-author of the Ethical Slut. She replaced all the
flowers in your garden with aphrodisiac venus fly traps.

- Will Franken, voted best comedian in San Francisco. He's the person
who keeps doing extreme sports on your roof at midnight.

- Alvin Orloff, author of Gutter Boys. He can replace his legs with a
twenty-foot spring that allows him to soar across the Bay.

- Storm Florez, zinester and musician. He helps small dogs to develop
their own disaster plans.
