Come by this Friday for a Special Cruise Benefit Performance of Joke-
e-oke. Send the Angry Waiter 4am collective out to sea! We've been
invited to perform on the Xingolati Cruise (www.xingolati.com)
in mid-October. But we need your donations to insure that we have the
Angriest time possible. Without your donations, our tiny raft may not
make it. Help! Come to Rx Gallery (www.rxgallery.com) this
Friday with loads of cash to give to our lovely assistants. No, this
is not tax deductible, BUT you have the satisfaction of knowing that
you are furthering the future of comedy (and possibly culture in
general). Space is limited - to be insured a spot, please respond to
this email!

The format for Friday will be Open Format Joke-e-oke!, where everyone
gets a chance to play (free of competitve pressure). We got
Kinnison, we got Barr, we got Cho, Allen, Pryor, Martin, Hicks,
Dangerfield, Rock, Seinfeld, Carlin, Bruce, Burns, and so many more!
It's simple - just sign up, choose a comic, and we'll call you up
when it's your turn.

You've heard (or maybe you haven't) about Joke-e-oke! on NPR, Wired,
New York Times, and the British music mag, NME. The idea for Joke-e-
oke! is simple: it's karaoke with standup comedy material. Everyone
wants the chance to be a comedian with killer material in front of a
laughing crowd. With Joke-e-oke!, people will be able to live out
their comedy dream! It may not be your material, but who cares? It's
still funny!

Who is behind this Joke-e-oke! thing? Good question. Angry Waiter
4am is a secretive collective whose modus operandi is to let the
audience do all the work for us (or at least most of it!). Our
motto: Here's your damn 15 minutes! We relish this current age of
performance/reality spectacle, and continue to invent new ways to
take advantage of the normal person's insatiable appetite for fame
and recognition. "Makers of Fine Participatory Products...Since 2103"
