changemakers of today. Bold youth and industry leaders challenge a
revamp of what is possible."

(This session has been extended to 1:15pm for a special youth
presentation following the panel.)

PANELISTS

- Niko Clifford - Niko is the Co-CEO of Girls For A Change, a program
that has trained over 2,000 young urban women to be change agents and
leaders and deemed a "Rising Star" by Fast Company Magazine.
- James Kass - James is the Executive Director of Youth Speaks, a
premier nonprofit presenters of spoken word educational and
performance programs in the country, coupled with comprehensive
curricula of arts education and youth development programs.
- Ashok Khosla - Ashok is Chairman of the Development Alternatives
Group, a consortium of organizations based in India whose mission is
to create technologies, enterprises and markets for large scale
generation of sustainable livelihoods.
- Judy Koch - Judy is the Founder and Board Chair of Bring Me A Book
Foundation, a nonprofit social enterprise that provides libraries of
quality, hardback childrens books and read aloud training to over
200,000 children and families in over 400 sites.
- Maria Teresa Petersen - Maria Teresa currently serves as Executive
Director for Voto Latino, the only national civic education
organization targeting Latino-American youth. Working with media
partners such as MTV Networks, Voto Latino reached over 55 million
young people through its voter PSA campaigns last year.
- Jim Schorr (moderator) - Jim is the Executive Director of Juma
Ventures, a nationally award-winning youth development program that
uses an innovative social enterprise-based approach to support urban
youth in making successful transitions from high school to adulthood.
Under Jim's leadership, Juma Ventures has solidified its program
model, focused its social enterprise operations and developed
compelling plans for national expansion.
